What is Accountable2You?

Accountable2You is a software designed to help you maintain integrity and transparency in your digital life. It works by monitoring your activity across all your devices and sharing that activity with your counselor. This process helps you stay on track and avoid digital temptations, such as pornography.

Important Program Requirement

All clients participating in the Sex Offender Treatment Program are required to install Accountable2You on every internet-connected device you have access to. This includes, but is not limited to, computers, smartphones, and tablets.

Your Counselor will enter your information, and you will receive an email inviting you to activate your account.

Installing Accountable2You

The installation process for Accountable2You is straightforward, but the exact steps differ slightly depending on your device.

General Installation Process: The core steps are the same no matter what you're using:

Download and install: Get the correct app or program for your device from an app store or the Accountable2You website.
Log in: Open the app and log in with your account information.
Name the device: Give your device a unique name so you can easily identify it in your reports.
Enable permissions: Follow the on-screen prompts to grant the necessary permissions. These permissions allow the software to monitor activity.
Complete setup: Finalize the installation by following the remaining instructions.

Instructions by Device Type

Windows & Mac: Download the dedicated installer from the Accountable2You website. The installer will guide you through the process, including logging in and granting permissions.
Android: Download the Accountable2You Monitoring app from the Google Play Store. The app will then guide you through enabling various permissions, including Device Admin and Accessibility settings.
iPhone & iPad: Download the Accountable2You Monitoring app from the App Store. The app will prompt you to install a configuration profile and a VPN to enable monitoring.
Chromebook: Install the Accountable2You browser extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Linux: Accountable2You is available as a Snap package. You will need to install it from the Snap Store and then register it to your account.
